The main reason why the fashion suit system thrives in the media houses is mainly because, the broadcasters strives in every way to be like their foreign counterparts. Most often the foreign media broadcasters appear on lovely suits that make them to be very cute when they disseminate piece of information via the TV.  This makes their African counterparts to follow suit.
